Our company EMA based in Slovenia, EU produces VMS tracking device BlueTraker® and provides other MCS solutions in fishery. The purpose of this email is to inform you about our product and kindly ask you about some basic information about the current situation and trends in VMS in Indonesia.
Highlights about BlueTraker® that I would like you to know are that BlueTraker® is designed as a hybrid communication device which means that it uses both satellite (Iridium) and GPRS communication to transmit VMS messages from a fishing vessel. Also, it is capable of sending e-logbook information as well as to receive data from the e.g. Fisheries Monitoring Center. Due to the global coverage of Iridium satellite network, BlueTraker® offers truely global tracking.
Among other numerous features BlueTraker® has number of various inputs and outputs which enable it to also serve as real hub for the collection of scientific, environmental and other information about the sea from a fishing or other vessels.
